On February 3rd, campaigners from the Better Lives in Powys  campaign team, attended a “Your Health Services” drop-in event organised by the Powys Teaching Health Board as part of its Better Together programme.

Talking to people at the event allowed the campaign team to collect valuable stories and encourage attendees to complete their survey on experiences with the 104 week waiting list and the impact of long waits on daily life.

This was also an opportunity to speak with Adrian Osborne Deputy Director with Powys Teaching Health Board.

Health Board tables and sticky notes also provided space for feedback on wider health services.

The campaign team would like to thank Powys Teaching Health Board for welcoming them to the event.

Mel said: “Speaking directly with the community at this event gave us a clearer picture of the real impact of the 104 week waiting list and helps strengthen our campaign for change.”
