Make a Difference in Powys – Your Voice Matters

Your Voice Matters – Help BLIP Highlight the Impact of Long Waiting Times
If you live in Powys and have experience with the NHS 104-week waiting time policy, whether as a patient, carer, family member, or advocate, BLIP wants to hear from you.
We are collecting real experiences from across the county to build a clear picture of how long waiting times affect lives and the barriers people face. Your responses are completely anonymous and will help us challenge policies, hold decision-makers accountable, and advocate for fair access to healthcare in Powys.
Why This Matters
Fair access to healthcare touches every part of life — from families and work to education and community wellbeing. Long waiting times do not just affect the individual patient; they ripple through families, schools, workplaces, and local communities.
BLIP exists because residents care deeply about their communities. We want systems that work with local people, reflect real experiences, and create fairness and clarity — not confusion or hardship. By sharing your story, you help ensure that the voices of Powys residents are heard where it matters most.

Help Shape What Matters Next
At Better Lives in Powys, we believe the strongest campaigns start with the voices of the people who live here.
We want to hear from you.
What issues are affecting your life right now?
What changes would make the biggest difference to you, your family, or your community?
What should we be focusing on next?
Whether it’s healthcare, transport, cost of living, housing, mental wellbeing, support services, rural access, or something else entirely — your experiences and ideas matter.
Powys is diverse, rural, resilient and unique. The challenges we face are not always the same as elsewhere, and the solutions shouldn’t be either. By sharing your priorities, you help us make sure future campaigns reflect what’s truly important to the people who live and work here.
You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. Every voice helps shape a clearer picture of what needs to change.
Let’s build better lives in Powys — together.
